Emily Napaltjarri Andy was born Narwietooma Station in 1953. She is a Warlpiri speaker and her traditional country is around the Mt Wedge region. She paints bush onion, bush potato, Wallaby, and honey ant dreamings as well as Mt Wedge. She has been painting since the mid-1980s. Her work is included in many national and international collections.
